Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Aroma is down low: malts, floral, some herbs. Light chestnut. Frothy half moon of an off-white head. Light bitter. Berries and herbs. Christmas fruits. The latter more so in the finish. Some underlying caramel sweetness. Light-medium bodied. On the thin side. Average carbonation. Abrupt finish. Not bad. Definately a winter beer.

[on draught at The Hobgoblin, Reading] Hint of spices (chilli? cardamon?), hint of smoke, hint of autumn fruits but otherwise not that interesting a flavour. Smooth, easily drinkable. Overwhelming bitterness and dryness in aftertaste killed it for me.

Cask at Charlie’s, Copenhagen
Hazy amber color; nice head. Perfumy malt and hop aroma. Quite nice, light malt flavor, a bit fruity, with a pleasant yeasty touch. Pleasant golden (?) Ale.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. An amber beer with a bubbly light orange head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit and malt. The flavor has weird fruity, toffee, and malt notes, leading to a dry toffee finish.
