Tap@Malmö Brygghus Hamnmästaren, Malmo - dark red/brown pour with tan head. Aroma and taste is mix of prominent coffee, with fruity hoppy citrus, some caramel, dark berry fruits, complex brew with great mouthfeel. Very nice.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail

Pours dark reddish brown with a smooth head. Aroma of grassy hops, coffee beans, mocha, cocoa and slight roastiness. Taste is malty, hoppy and fruity with some coffee, cocoa, slight roastiness and berries. Finish is malty, slightly roasty and fruity with some berries and cocoa. Feels more like an imperial brown ale than a DIPA.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy ruby body with a massive beige head. Very little visible carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of bitter green apple, caramel and brown sugar. Flavour of cherry, grenadine, weak filter coffee and caramelised sugar. No alcohol burn, despite the 9.1% ABV. Medium body with an oily, almost chewy texture. Soft fizz. The coffee influence is very subtle, but this is a really interesting Imperial IPA.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; dark brown pour with a voluminous creamy tan head, pine and coffee aroma, taste had pine and obviously coffee, roasted malts there are some blurred lines between this and a BIPA who cares though if the beer tastes good,
