GBBF. Cask. Cloudy orange beer. Very low carbonation. Softish palate, a bit dry. Light orange and lemon fruit. Not bitter or sharp. A little insipid but okay.

Cask at GBBF. Pale cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of pilsner malt, straw and biscuit, with a hint of fruit. Dryish malty flavour with some nice straw-like hop character

Cask at GBBF 2009. Cloudy pale gold, very thin white head. It’s a pretty light lager. It’s ok, I was going to say that it was a bit dull, but it was up against some really solid German stuff.

Back to the USA bar again for an American interpretation of a German Helles. Tiny head covering a hazy, lightly golden body. Smell of mild fruity hops. Taste of citric fruits mixed with herbal hops. Some yeasty notes. A bit sweet, but quite well made (gravicask, GBBF 07.08.2009).
