Tap at the brewpub. Pours amber with a white head. Light floral aroma. Light floral/citrus flavors over caramel. Could be ESB. Finishes smooth and mildly bitter. Nice stuff.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear pale amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Earthy malt aroma with some caramel notes. Medium, clean body with flavors of caramel malt, sweet fruit and mild hops. The finish is pale malt with a short sweet aftertaste. Just average overall.

(10/11/08) Draught at the brewpub in Chicago. Very fizzy deep hazy amber with no head - looks like Coke. Malty aroma with nutty notes and a bit of caramel. Sweetish malty flavor with some caramel notes and a nice softly bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Enjoyable.

Beer-judging sized sampler glass. Nice amber ale color under a thin head. Lightly malted and hopped, but it leaves a good malty aftertaste (or is that the Wing Nut still in my glass talking?). Pretty good standard football-wachtin' beer.
