Rated at St Albans Beer Festival September 2013. Dark brown with hints of orange - autumnal. Smells of sweet things: toffee, caramel, candied apples. Taste is good but not perfect. Sugary sweet with coffee and liquorice. I expect more from a beer of this strength.

Cask @ Bon Accord. ABV 7,5%? Ruby red colour, small white head. Aroma of grassy hops, alcoholic and metallic. Flavour has caramel malts, bitter hops. Metallic. Bitter and dry finish. Not very well done.
