Polish hops (Lublin and Marynka) and Mexican honey provide the ideal balance to the dark roasted malts in this remarkably fresh tasting porter.

Cask at Pigs Ear. Clear brown beer - small suddy head. Light and tangy with some roasted malt. A litt honey in there somewhere but pretty subtle. Not bad.

Cask at Battersea beer festival 2010. A deep ruby coloured pour with an off white head. Honey, chocolate aroma. Tastes sweet but in a nice way, honey, slight chocolate notes, malty, roasty. A pleasant porter from a quality brewery.

Cask stillage (Bitter Virtue, Southampton) - Black in colour. Malty and sweet aroma with honey and some roasted notes. Roasted malt taste with hops and honey. The honey is noticeable but not overwhelming. Nicely balanced.

Cask gravity at Pigs Ear 2008. Very dark ruby colour, lasting off white head. Good condition. Little bit of honey. Decent beer, not too choccy, not too honeyish, but a little sweetness
