cask at Cloisters Edinburgh ... very pale amber ... wattery grassy hop nose ... sweet fruit little mellon ... some juicy hop ... again alittle grassy.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival 09-05-08 Apparently as the name suggests this is brewed by Gary Mitchell at the Elland plant, so I was reliably informed by a North Oxon CAMRA scooper Paul Yarrop at Banbury Beer Beer Festival. Pours light amber with some sweet citrus which leaks plenty of bitterness around the edge’s and roof of my mouth. The bitter edge to this beer lasts a little while and the beer finishes quite dry, there is some banana on the nose and also some sweet candy in the mouth.

Cask gravity at Bricklayers Arms 2nd Annual Yorkshire BF 08. Gold with slight haze. Lasting beige head. Probably not quite ready yet. A little muddy in mouth, good bitter hop on end. Bit of butter on aroma. Very good bittering hop though. Muddy earthy in mouth, give it half a day and it’ll be much better.
