Hazy near black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of licorice, chocolate, caramel and roasted malt - a real stout made in Czech! Dry and very roasted flavour with a fruity note, burnt finish.

on tap at the brewery pours dark brown, tall tan head. Roasted malt and coffee nose. Roasted malt and bakers chocolate meets a dry bitter hoppy finish. Creamy mouthfeel, silky smooth. Good dry stout.

(6/24/08) Draught at the brewpub in Prague. Black-colored with a brown head. Nice aroma of coffee, heavily roasted malt and some cocoa notes. Sweetish roasty flavor with coffee, caramel hints, maybe some faint fruitiness and later some roasty bitterness. Medium-bodied. A very nice Stout.

(Draught at Pivovarsky Dum, Prague, 19 July 2008) Black colour with frothy, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, dark chocolate and a hint of citrussy hops. Roasted, malty taste with lots of coffee, dark bitter chocolate and a nice citussy cocoa bitterness in the finish. Fairly thin body, but dry, clean and fresh. I could drink this all evening. Lovely stuff!

Draught at the brewpub. literally black coloured with a smaller, stable beige head, drz bitter roasted malty with a delicate fruity background and a tinge of molasses, solid drzy bitter and a bit sweet flavour, quite light bodied, a bit sweeter in the lingering coffeeish to roasted malty finish. Well done stuff......
