Eagle Ale is golden in colour and glides smoothly, not unlike the magnificent birds of prey found on the Isle of Skye. Expect a lightly hopped Ale with notes of caramel.

Pretty easy-going, this. A little zesty hop up front and every so slightly grassy in the flavour with some citrus and a little fruity sweetness. Taste peters out a bit. Not the tastiest beer in the work but it's nice and refreshing

Shared 500ml bottle. Clear golden with a moderate white head. Aroma is banoffee pure, flavour is mainly caramel with some yeasty banana and a little spice on the finish

Cask at the brewpub. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is toasty, grainy, slight sweetness and a touch of lemon. The taste is smooth, easy-going, lemony, toast and cereal with a dry finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Pretty light and inoffensive stuff, but a bit watery. Nothing wrong with it, just not a whole lot going on.

Hazy light tan, aroma is light and mostly earthy. Tart character, a little smoky and off. Maybe some caramel. Disappointing for a brewpub.

On tap in the Seumas bar at the Sligachan Hotel. It pours pale and golden with a nicely proportioned head. The nose is fresh and grapefruity and this is confirmed on the taste. The palate is light to medium in body but well balanced and very drinkable.
