Cask/Gravity at The Swan Beer Festival, Islip 05-10-07 Pours warm gold with good clarity the merest whiff of hops. Slightly medicinal flavour, in fact this tastes like drinking beer with a squirt of toothpaste added at the same time, sweet totally devoid of character.

Cask Counting house glasgow ... Nice copper ... sweet toffe malts ... lots of rich bitter caramel fruit malts ... definite toffee notes ... all round not bad but id rather lose the bitter edge. Served a bit cold. None the less i was suprised how much iejoyed the GK outing

Cask handpull at The Drum Inn, Stanford North. I guess this is brewed for the Rugby World Cup. Gold, lasting beige head. Hoppy grassy aroma. Sweetish citrus fruits. Good cellarman works here I think as the beers are always in good nick even if they are GK. Bit of peach or rose petal. Malts are a little syrupy in mouth. It’s a little too sweet for me. I prefer something more bitter. Fruits rather than hops on finish, although there is a hop presence. Inoffensive.
