Grainy in its aroma and tastes, slightly sour too. Passable but also missable.

Half pint, cask from hand pump at Standing Order (JDW). Off-white head, crystal clear golden body. Discreet smell of fresh orange fruit. Notes of pineapple and peaches in taste. Finish off with a bitter touch. Average for the style (Edinburgh, 29.11.2010) (rating no.3701).

Cask @ Counting House, JDW. Clear golden colour, medium white head. Aroam is biscuit malts, some hops. Flavour is fairly hoppy, citrus, initially a bit sour, followed by lots of biscuit. Slightly dry finish. Well drinkable.

Cask half-pint at NERAX 5/4/06. Brassy-yellow, dried pineapple colored body is bright, with a small, white head, moderately-well retained and lacing very lightly. Fresh fruity hops rise up from the glass (light nectarines, apricots) while nearly juicy pale malts and some light citrus on end combine to keep things snappy and rather dry. Very fruity flavor, with dry pale malts, light straw, dry wafers and golden raisins (very faint) to balance. Bubbly, crisp and with a strong yeasty, doughy and somehow earthy (more like baked clay) note. Didnt realize there was wheat in it, but assuming that just balances the sweet pale malts and fruitiness, it works well.
