Aroma had malty, grassy and sadly butterish notes. Over the palate came biscuity malt, hay and butter. Finished dry and slightly bitter.

Eingetrübte goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, brotiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, brotig, getreidig, leicht hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is bready, cereals, earthy. Taste is bready, herbal hops, cereals, dry finish. Soft silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Decent.

Tap @ Delfts bierfestival 2014, medium sample. Hazy yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of malt, spicy hop, grassy, bit sulphur. Bit sweet taste, medium bitter. Cellar, dusty. Quite nice keller.

On tap @ Delfts bierfest 2014, with caesar. Cloudy golden/yellow color. White to off white head. Aroma’s: fruity, grain/grass. Less aroma retronasal. Flavor is lightly sweet, wheaty. Light bodied. Finishes with a light bitterness.

Tap at Delft Beer Festival. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, grain. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

50cl bottle, bb 17.11.13. Slightly hazy, golden with a thin white head. Lots of bubbles. Ryebread, herbal, yeasty aroma, not your typical kellerbier for sure. Watery palate. Flavor has bread, malt, yeast. Strong malty taste, high carbonation. Drinkable.

As this is unfiltered, make sure to give the bottle a swirl before you reach the end, to stir up the yeast and sediments. Pours a cloudy golden with foamy head. Aroma is mostly malt with some citrus. Taste is smooth, mouthfeel medium weight and little lingering on the palate. A very good example of the style.
