A dark golden ale with a reddish hues, almost no head. A strong lemon ginger drops candy aroma, rather pleasant, with some caramel notes. In mouth, rather light bready malt with ginger lemon developing later, but aqueous at best. BB March 05, 2006, from BC. Tasted Jan 2007, with probstk.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy pale amber golden with a small, rough, off-white head. Very fresh aroma with the citrus and ginger really shining through. Medium body, completely dominated by an astringent, bitter ginger note. The bitterness makes it hard to drink. 050507

(Cask at Jerusalem Tavern, Farringdon, London 25 Apr 2007) Dark amber colour, slightly hazy, almost no head. Spicy nose dominated by ginger and lemon peel (and a hint of those lemon scented air fresheners you find in the gents). Fruity, spicy taste with ginger, citrus (lemon, blood orange) and a serious dash of earthy hops in the finish. Quite nice, the hops balance things out rather nicely.

Cask at Jerusalem Tavern, London. A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is strong of ginger, and the flavor is sweet with ginger being the most dominant note, but on a nice malty back ground.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is fantastic with strong notes of ginger and lemongrass. But the flavor besides containing lots of ginger also has a weird plastic note to it.

500ml bottle bought at The Jerusalem Tavern (which have off-sale of their beers). Rich aroma of ginger. Golden coloured with a low white head. Citrus flavour of lemon and ginger. Lingering fruity aftertaste. Very unique, indeed. Alright for my taste (19.09.2006)

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Ginger in aroma along with some lemony hints. Also spices. Flavour is mint, ginger and crap. Barely drinkable at all. Bitter? Yeah right...

Bottled (BB 11/2006). Light copper color, no head. Strong ginger aroma cut with lemon. In the flavor ginger is mixed with flavors like toothpaste or peppermint. Very strange ginger beer - not very drinkable - more like vanity brew.

(Bottle at Haket in Gothenburg) Clear golden color with a small white head. Indeed lemon and ginger scent, though the lemon and also lime really takes over. Very sour and grape like taste, some old beer taste in the after taste, not very pleasant.
