Light blonde, clear, thin white head, good lacing
Aroma of soft citrus hops, light malts, dab of dry zest
Taste of light malts, bit grassy, hay, citrus hops, old lemon zest, bit floral
Palate - Light body, fairly bitter, clean palate. Finish is dry, fairly bitter linger
Overall - Simple beer with dry bitter finish. OK. One for drinking quickly to alleviate thirst as the name suggests

Hand-pulled pint in the lovely ’Old Joint Stock’ Birmingham (West Midlands) on 5th Dec 2012. Bright and clear light amber body with a thin wispy white head. Something earthy, almost farmyardy about the aroma and taste: not the usual flavour or smell a UK Pale Ale gives off anyway. Real mixed bag of thoughts came to me as I supped this beer, citrus, floral, horse-blanket, mud and hints of a malt undertone. Strange but enjoyable, one however was enough and my thirst was quenched.

Cask at Brewery Tap, Chester. Hazy golden. Fresh zesty citrus aroma. Dryish and slender with vital, firm mouthfeel. Good balance between citrusy grassy hop and light grainymalt. Lovely depth despite the light body. An aptly named, excellent thirst quencher!
