Bottle from Booths Salford. Deep golden ale with a thick bubbly head. Its aroma is bitter malt but even though the ginger is relatively subtle in its flavour, it still dominates taste. Has a carbonation.

On cask @ the Bow Bar. Pours dark amber with a proportionate head. The nose has spices - dried orange and cinnamon I get. The taste has more of the same and now I get the ginger. The palate is medium bodied with a medium thick texture and a decent clean finish. Overall, the best I’ve had from Arran.

Cask handpull at County Hotel, Ashford. Deep chestnut. Ginger from the start. No great condition either. I tend to like ginger beers, but this one is awful. Almost undrinkable. Ginger lemon shandy. Taste of stale dust. Pretty poor.
