Bottle shared at the Aug. 2016 Monticello Dairy Bottle Share, 8/1/16. Murky orange, large creamy off-white head. Aroma of mustard, funk, bandaid, pepper, caramel. The taste is toffee,caramel, paper, pepper and a mild vegetal note. Medium bodied, low carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange copper color with a large white head. A big funky sweet nose. Spicy notes, dusty, funky soft notes of spices. Very fun. Lively beer. Light, no alcohol at all shown. Lemons.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with small off white head that quickly diminishes to nothing. The aroma is funk, rubber, feet. Thick mouth, strong funk, peppery, light dryness, very good.

Bottle from Etre Gourmet, bought in 2012. Slightly hazy golden with a large white head. On the sweet side with yeast, fruit, some candy, light spices and orange. Not that bitter and with a lively carbonation. A descent beer.

Bottle. Slightly hazy deep golden with big white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, spices, yeast, grass, little soap, hop and a little pepper. Flavour is malt, fruit, caramel, yeast, spices, grass, little herbal, little soap, little earthy, medium sweet and medium bitter.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - flowers. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 170215

Tasted at one of the first Zythos Bierfestivals. Dark bronze beer with thinnish, off-white head; candied orange, sourish accent as in most of Fantôme’s brews, spicy, yeasty; sweet and spicy main taste, quite complex, fruity accents, smooth caramelly malt sweetness, funky accents, yeast bitterish and herbally hoppy finish. One of the brews that prove Fantôme can come up with great things, weird as they may be.

Golden/coppor color, white head. Grassy aroma. Dry and bitter taste, with some faint orange. Nice fresh and slightly sour aftertaste. Nice saison.
