Over five breeds of heron have made their home in the Great Rift Valley region of Kenya. Likewise, we have taken their lead by crafting an IPA with five different hops blanketed over a foundation of clean malt. Featuring Simcoe, Citra, & Amarillo hops this is our take on the American IPA.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is piney hop with orange marmalade, malt, pine resin, some grapefruit. Nicely bitter with some sweetness. Medium body. Classic IPA character, piney and bitter, plenty of ripe orange.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. DArk yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average heavy bitter finish. Oily palate.

Can thanks to Drake! apple gold with a dusting of a white head. Floral hops, stale hops, resin nose. Resin, caramel, orange and grapefruit peel, floral hop flavor... somewhat stale. Can only 5 months old, maybe I just don't think it's great.

2$ blue and green can from vintage estate. Smells like floral sweet hops. First taste is big nasty difficult hops like any other true to the style IPA. Yes, just as bitter as losing $100K in the 401 when the corona virus ass hole hits. So stupid so much shutdown for no reason at all. Fuck off. Less trouble than the real flu yet we shut down the country? Hey, did we shut down the country for aids? Did we shutter down for the mosquito scare or even the nile or the asian flu? Big fuck off I say. I think this is all about trying to get trumpster out of office. Big fucking yah-hoo. I hate bitter beers and this is just another truly bitter asshole happy bullshit beer.

Pours deep gold into a shaker. Bubbly head recedes to mottle surface. Sweet caramel aromas. Thick with hot caramel and pine upfront turning to earthy pith in the lasting finish.

Bottle. Golden orange pour. Aroma of bitter orange, pine, biscuity malt and grapefruit. Taste has bitter orange, biscuity malt, crispy citric hop and grapefruit. Nice hoppy bitter west coast stuff, I've missed this with all the neipa fruit juice of late.

Bottle, from CCity Hops. Pours cloudy dark orange with small frothy light beige head, faint resin aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter lightly resinous taste, smooth body, long balanced finish. Classical American IPA, well-balanced.
