Slightly hazy golden, very decent white head. Yeasty nose, fruity, nice hops tone. Some caramel. Flavour slightly sweet, malts, some hops bitterness and a bit of banana coming through. Finish dry and rather hoppy.

330ml from tap early on a Friday in a super relaxing atmosphere at Oud Arsenaal. Decent, white head atop of an unclear, golden body. Tropical fruity aroma. Taste of banana, plums, and orange added by bread-like malts. Fresh bitter ending. Refreshing first drink on a great sunny day in Antwerpen, 29.04.2011).

bottle@bar: golden coloured with a white head, wonderful mix of malt & bitterness, sweet yeast with fruit incl. banana + orange & caramel, sweet white bread mixed with medium bitter hops, very nice, certainly shares some characters with their awesome Magma beer, liked this also quite a bit[br]8/5/2012: 25 cl. draft @ Gollem // after this only one illustrious Troubadour beer left, questing I will find that one // clear amber with a small spotty, lightly lacing white head // smells is quite reasonably hoppy, EU hops, Saaz?, touch Belgian esters, grass, spices, light banana coming from the yeast // taste is light undercurrent banana sweetness, yeast, some Belgian esters, spices in the finish, hint white pepper & grass // light, soft carb. // its ok

Bottle @ Carlsens Kvarter, Odense. Pours clear yellow with a small stable white head. Fruit and yeast. Dry and bitter flavor. Very clean. Medium bodied. Ends dry. Bouteille 750ml, courtoisie de SlovakSniper. De couleur dorée-orange et voilée. Nez de levures fruitées (agrumes, léger de pêches, notes de mangues) et épicées (poivre doux), léger de pain et de houblon floral aux notes herbeuses ainsi qu’avec des notes de miel et de sucre bonbon. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen aux petites notes croustillantes ainsi qu’une texture moyennement crémeuse aux petites notes huileuses. Goût de levures fruitées (agrumes, moyen de pêches, traces de mangues et de poires) et moyen d’épices (poivre doux, faibles traces de clou de girofle) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût de pain frais avec un léger goût de grains de malt sucrés et des notes de miel et de sucre bonbon. Parallèlement, l’on retrouve une légère amertume de houblon herbeux (herbes mouillées) aux notes florales et ce, jusqu’en finale avec des traces d’alcool. Post-goût moyen et aux notes asséchantes, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux aux notes florales avec un goût de levures fruitées (zest d’agrumes, notes de pelures de pêches).

Bottle: Poured a dirty beige color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of lightly spicy yeast with notes of medium sweet malt backbone is interesting. Taste is a good mix between some spicy yeast with notes of bready Belgian malt with a well balanced level of sweetness. Body is quite full with low level of filtration and great carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Nothing extraordinary but well brewed nonetheless.
