Brown 33cl bottle, best before 30 Mar 2013, poured into a ’Hoegaarden Grand Cru badged stemmed tulip on 25 Nov 2011. Huge white head, slightly hazy body of gold sat below. Belgian yeast esters came up to greet my nose, wave after wave of them, lovely. The taste was also of yeastiness, the beer being hoppy, dry and crisp in the mouth. Really liked it, as I do most Belgian brews.

On tap at Gollem’s Proeflokaal, Overtoom, Amsterdam on 17th March 2011. Slightly hazy gold with whte foamy part-lacing head. Yeasty, malty aroma - rather sweet then grassy peppery burst of hoppiness in-mouth. Spicy notes all around the mouth and retreating liquuid leaves a citric tang on tongue and a grassy bittersweet finish. Re-tasted on 16th March 2012 and much the same.

Nothing too special about this beer in my opinion. Pretty standard score on all criteria, aroma a little higher cause it’s a little fruity. It’s decent enough, but just not one I’d remember for a long time.[br]6/28/2013: Draught @ Gollem, Antwerpen. Slightly hazy yellow color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, moderately bitter, a slight citrussy fruity touch. Pretty standard blond.
