Draft @ Delirium. Dorée, col blanc crémeux. Arôme houblonné, typique belge, malt léger alternant sur un bouquet citronné fleuri léger. Palais est légèrement fruité, pointe d’abricot, pâle malt et grains, pointe de levure, cara grillé avec un fini houblonné amertume persistant, possible bready. On est loin du reste de leurs bières, pas mauvaise, mais sans grand intérêt.

Bottle: Golden, foggy, bigger white lacy head, alcoholic and fruity nose with a light grainy and a light tart touch; moderate to robust sweet-bitter flavour, quite full bodied; lingering fruity and tart sweet-bitter finish with a delicate alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Nice belgian fizz...

Draught Medium fine & dense yellow head, copperish-golden beer. Vegetable aromas, including celeri, and other aroma’s at not-fully fermented out beer. Taste confirming the nose: beer was kegged too young. Also the fiery feel backthroat points in again the same direction. Toasted maize retronasal. Light to medium bodied, finish is very dry. A bit raw - but that is probably again the lack of conditioning. Pity, I’d hoped for more.[br]7/1/2014: Small, dense white head, fed by lively carbonated hazy golden beer with a greenish/yellow sheen. Dryish, grapey/fruity nose. Bit herbal/spicy (parsley, tarragon?); pale grain, lunaria. Bitterish hoppy flavour, again slightly grapey, suggestion at sweetness. Feels extremely carbonated, near fizzy; all flavours balancing out, slowly fading. Nice, a playful variation on a known theme. Now, let those flying eejits sit down and enjoy a Vliegenierke, instead of ruining all our sunny weekends with their noisy wasting of nonrenewable resources.Earlier Rating: 2/28/2003 Total Score: 3.6Golden colour with orangey shine. White head, lacy. Warm grain in the nose, some alcohol. Cooked vegetable (DMS?). Taste gives sweet malt and slightly bitterish at the same time, + prickly carbonation which results in a nice balance. There is alcohol burn, and the sweetness in the taste becomes distinctly honey-ish, long lingering. A nice beer, nothing spectacular.

From tap @ a local pub in Antwerp. This is a light cloudy golden-yellow one with a big massive and everlasting dense white head. It has a malt and caramel sweet aroma, some faint butter-scotch thingy going on as well. Flavors are also kinda infused by that butter-diacetyl thingy. Unfortunately. It also has a mildly infected sourness as well. It does not end quickly either in this one. That light sourness really sticks around in my mouth. Not sure if this beer is supposed to taste like this, and I most likely will not be asking for a new one. At least not here. This is actually the first beer I ever taste in Belgium. 02.06.2012

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with huge firm frothy moderately lacing white head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma, some orange notes, orange zest, a hay note. Wheaty taste, sweet undertone, yeasty overtone. Slightly sticky finish accompanied by some prickling yeast. Very solid brew.

33cl bottle. BBE 15/02/2014. Poured hazy golden with a thick frothy head. aroma: earthy, yeast, light barnyard. Flavor: hops, spices, light barnyard. Also light metal in finish. Very dry finish. Medium bodied.
