Not sure what vintage this is but served in a snifter it pours a lovely ruby red with a light pink head. The aroma’s quite different from other krieks as it delivers the same cherry and oak as so many others but I also get a distinct odd caramel like quality. Fairly full bodied with a dry finish that follows a hit of sweetness. The taste starts off sweet cherries, then musty oak, some cloying sweet cherry syrup before ending very dry. It’s pretty good though I feel there’s something a bit off with the aroma.

Flavor is sour cherries, wheat, slight acidity and bitterness. Overall: ok, bit bland.5:4:6:3:15=3.3 0.375L bottle, vintage 1998, at Man in the Moon. Pours dark red-copper. Aroma and flavor are very mellow, musty cellar, carrots fruits cherry port. Vinegar like notes without actual vinegar.. hard to describe.. But very good.

Dec. ’15. A 0.375 l bottle, courtesy of Marko, thanks a lot! It poured hazy cherry colored body with a medium sized, usual pink head. Decent sour cherry aroma. Not so intensively sour lambic flavor but nor the sour cherry was intense. Only a hint of sweetness here. Medium to thin body. Shorter finish, a bit earthy and even with smooth chalk wheat note at the very end. A pleasant fruit lambic, well balanced, but a bit thin.

Zapach stajnia, smak czysty lambik i wisnie, wcale nie takie mocne te wisnie. Kwasnosc umiarkowana (choc jezyk sztywnieje momentami). Prosty

375ml bottle. Cloudy, brown-ish, dark red colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, pink-ish off-white head. Intensely fruity, cherry aroma, delivers the whole spectrum of fleshy sweet and fruit acid tart flavours. Taste is slightly dry, moderately tart, fruity, notes of cherry, subtle remnant fruity sweetness, slightly earthy hints of morello cherries, some acidic spiciness. Highly drinkable, very refreshing.

375ml at the Sovereign pours a murky red with some clumpy white head. Nose is solid, sweet cherries, some candy, mild band aid, plenty of pie/Brett C, fruit roll up. Flavor is sweet and tart, cherries, fruit roll ups, a little medicinal, mild lemon. I feel like the Girardin base goes so so well with cherries.
