Bottle: Slightly hazy, caramel-brown-red with a small beige head. Smoky/musty....cherry aroma. Taste is tart, but smooth cherry, yeast, cellar-funk....dusty. Very good.

Bottle at Cafe Belgique. Pours clear red, aroma and taste of light cherry, fizzy, almond.

375ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki, courtesy of skullgeorge. Dark amber color with off white head. Funky fruity aroma, cherry, light dusty barnyard notes. Sweet and light sour dry taste like the aroma. Medium thin to oily body with soft carbonation.

Troebel rood bier met schuim. Smaak is droog en licht zuur met kers, en houtachige smaak. Goed bier, echter mij iets te droog en zuur.

Bottle at Kunstemaecker, Steenkerke, 17/10/14. Cherry red with a well appointed crimson covering. Nose is tangy cherries, woody must, light spice, cherry skins, hint of smoke. Taste comprises tarte cherry skins, cherry tinged straw, musty wood rinse, tangy berry fruit, light smoke. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light acidic vibes. Ok cherry kriek, fairly mellow but not without some depth.

Where: SBWF 2014.
Appearance: Red-brown colour with an off-white head.
Aroma: Funk, acidic, sour cherry.
Body: Medium body, lively carbonation.
Flavour: Funk, sour, cherries, malt, citrus.

Cloudy deep red color with pink head. Aroma has light cherry and sweet and sour notes. Taste is fairly sweet, sour, lactic, acetic with medium cherry notes.

Red-brown color with small head. Sour-tart nose, cherries, just a little bit of sweetness, also soy sauce/umami. Taste is sour and cherries, very refreshing, with sweetness. Not too complex, but well-balanced. A nice Kriek!

Fra flaske på Cardinal, M2 sesongåpning: lett grumset lyserød med kort filmskum. Sure kirsebær/kirsebæreddik. Elegant balansert, og det nikkes fornøyd rundt bordet - denne faller i smak. Ikke et kompleks øl, men jeg har en mistanke om at denne kan være vanedannende.

Bottle at home. Clear red with a small cream head. Aroma of sugary sweet cherries, cherry cake. Flavor is over moderate sweet and light acidic. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
