330ml bottle via Beer52. Pours black with a bubbly beige head. Aroma: chocolate malts, dark fruits, hint of coffee. The taste follows, light sweet & moderate bitter. Thin to medium body, generous carb, with a pronounced dry & bitter finish

330ml bottle from Beer52; BB 10th Mar 2021. Drank at home on 27th Mar 2020. Black bodied, thin tanned topping, even though I poured it robustly. Chocolate malts rule the aroma and taste, not as 'roasted', 'burnt' or 'singed' as I expected. Nor did it have any 'peat like' presence. A little disappointed with it to be honest. Scored objectively.

5/10/2018. Bottle from Honest Brew. Pours almost black with a tan coloured short lasting head. Aroma of chocolate, dark fruit, roasted malt, light coffee, and a hint of liquorice and ash. Moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slickish texture, average carbonation. Enjoyable.

Bottle from the Vineyard, Belfast. Appearance - dark brown to black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - toffee, milk chocolate. Taste - light smoke and charcoal but the milk chocolate comes through still. Palate - light bodied, creamy and a touch thin on the finish. Overall - not that dry for an Irish stout.

Bottle @ You’ll never walk alone, Kolding. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of yeast and touches of roast and fruit. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of coffee and sweetish estery touches. Roasty and estery aftertaste with hints of malt. Well-balanced and quite enjoyable but not anything extraordinary. 330ml bottle. Pours deep brown, small tan head. Aroma of light roast, dark malts. Taste seems to be a textbook dry Irish stout, some mild roast, drying bitter close with some leather and tobacco notes. Yeah, decent.
