Brewmaster Mats Ekholm's third IPA for Stallhagen is created honouring the original style India Pale Ales popular in colonial England in the middle 1800s.

Stallhagen IPA Original is briskly hopped, well balanced and superbly tasty. The fine aroma and pleasant taste of hops complement its typically toasty maltiness an robust bitterness.

IPA Original is unfiltered, light copper brown, full bodied with a soft mouth feel and a dry finish.

Can 35,5 cl. Pours a clear nutty orange with a lacing, off-white head. Fruity nose, but very subdued in its aromas. Medium body, sweet malty, slightly caramellish and again biscuity. Somewhat bitter finish. British style IPA with less focus on aroma. 260718

Flaska från SB. En maltdominerad IPA. Snygga mörka karamellsmaker, särskilt när tempen stiger, havrekex, lite syltig citrus jämte. Trevlig

33cl bottle from Viking XPRS. Pours clear deep amber to copper coloured with a modest off-white head. Malty and caramelly with fruity notes, bitter herbs and hints of dried citrus peel. Medium sweet and rather malty with a medium bitter finish. Fair enough.

Bottle, 6.0%. Weak ashy aroma. Cloudy light amber colour. Very big stable creamy off-white head. The flavour is fruity and sort of Saaz-spicy. Good bitterness.
