330ml bottle, 10.9 % abv, kindly shared by djoeye. Off-white head, clear amber body, lacing rings down the glass. Bread and earthy malts on the nose, hints of alcohol. Heavy taste of bread, almond, and apricot, noticeable alcohol. Heavy to drink. Okay slow sipper. (PivotekaH7, Tromsø 12.07.2018).

330mL bottle at 100 pv, pours a clear copper golden with a small beige head. Aroma is like white chocolate, with a touch of vanilla. Flavour is along the same lines, with notes of white chocolate and vanilla upfront, and a hint of a metallic character. These white stouts are always strange, but this works pretty well.

Bottle from Pivný raj Uhm. Well. This is indeed weird. Aroma is, if I will be politically correct, unpleasant. In other words, discouraging or even bad. With taste it's much better, something like coffee but it's definitely difficult to get over the aroma. Never again.

Lieber nein.

Bottled 330ml. -from Pivny Raj Bratislava, Slovak Rep. Albino stout, let’s see. Dark golden coloured, small off-white head, coffee in the nose. Light roasted malt, heavy coffee, caramel and light spicy with touch of vanilla and coffee in the finish. Interesting but needs some improvement.

Bottle [from Euro Swap no doubt, thanks!] @ home shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus. Gusher! Lightly hazy sort of orange golden color, medium sized white head that leaves good lacing. Heavy coffee aroma which totally took me off guard. Taste malts, again quite heavy coffee and even a hint of chocolate. Wtf, how did they do this? Quite a surprise, but also quite nice. Very interesting!

Bottle @benzai. Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Smells asparagus, earthy. Smells sweetish, again asparagus, herbs, malts. Medium body, medium carbo.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at tiong’s tasting, thanks rosenbergh, 20160109) The beer poured golden(!) and clear, Its head was quite large and white. Aroma had malts, roastedness and bread. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, sweetness, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. More like a bock on steroids than a stout. Nice brew still.

300 ml bottle at 9.6% ABV, courtesy of Werckmeister, thanks!
Dark amber, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, yellowish head.
Aroma of coffee beans, caramel, brown sugar, cocoa, sweet spices, some fruits, slight alcohol.
Taste folllows this, with even more coffee beans and dry cocoa notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes quite dry, medium bitter, a bit sweet, a bit alcohol warming, with a lot of coffee, some cocoa, some caramel.

There seems to be some misunderstanding. It’s called "Albus Stout", "albus" means white, so this is a White Stout. Quite a new style and some might call it a pointless style, but it fulfills the criteria however: coffee forward and lighter in colour. Actually I really enjoyed it, well hidden alcohol and very well balanced, with lovely coffee notes, which aren’t too dominant though.
