Pours dark brown. Looks pretty transparent. Dissipating light brown head. Aroma is a bit boozy but still has lots of chocolate, caramel, vanilla, roast and a bit of wood. A bit better than fourteen. Taste adds some soy and a bit more roast. Low carbonation. Good beer, a bit boozy but good flavors. I preferred Fourteen Fourteen slightly, but it’s awfully close.

Bottle. Black pour, lasting tan head good lace. Aromas of dark fruit, plums prunes tons of marmite, soy sauce, chocolate and barrel. Flavors are musty, old oxidized, soy sauce. Autolysis. Barrel, salt. Medium body, some carb, warming.

Bottle at RBWG 2013 Grand Tasting. Pours clear, red-black with a slight, tan film head. Boozy dark malts in the nose, some sugary chocolate. Big sweet tasting, syrupy dark sugars, light molasses. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warm finish, dark chocolate, light roast, some boozy sting. Lots of dark, sugary cake. Nice beer.
