Bouteille 33cl dégustée dans un resto italien quelconque un dimanche pluvieux à Paliseul. La bière doit être un tel succès que la BB était 23/09/2023.
Dorée au col blanc.
Arôme est classique belge, notes d'esters, un peu banane, léger grillé oscillant sur le torréfié. Bière assez moyenne au nez où le volet passé ne semble pas aider.
Palais est assez classique belge présentant qcq notes d'esters - banane, cara pâle avec une petite amertume houblonnée en retrait, le côté grains et céréales ressort plus en retrait et le fait que la BB soit déjà passée n'aide pas vraiment cette bière.

@home poured into a chalice. Clear deep golden colour, good frothy white head, good retention, thin layer with yeast islets remains, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malt, yeast, light banana and orange, honey. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, yeast, light orange peel, spicy notes. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, sweet and mild bitter aftertaste, some marzipan, spicy notes, well-made, very nice blond.

33cl bottle (6,8%) from E.Leclerc Pierry supermarket in France. Huge, white long lasting head. Colour is gold, clear. Aroma is honey, orange peels, spicy, mellow fruity, floral. Taste is medium malty base, simple malty, grainy, mellow fruity, floral, alcohol touch, bit honey, medium carbonation, ok yet very simple.

Fles gedeeld door Inoven. Het is een donker geel bier met een witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een lekkere zoete, fruitige, gistachtige geur. De smaak is zoet, zacht wat fruitig.

Flesje gedeeld met TomHendriksen. Oranje-geel bier, licht troebel. Aroma en smaak is fruitig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Commissioned blonde beer referring to Godfried of Bouillon. Cream white head, bright golden blonde colour. Neutral to light fruity nose, apple, pineapple, flowers, orange peel, honey, caramel. Malt sweetish taste, fresh, light fruity notes, light sourishness, otherwise rather neutral and too little hop bitterness in the finish to lend it sufficient body.

Clear blond beer, aery irregular white head, little stable, adhesive. Aroma: fruity, tangerines, floral, gummy bears. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, very spicy, lemony, soft bitterness, floral. Aftertaste: sweet, floral, gummy bears, spicy, some orange peel, bit soapy, sugary, oxidized, sugary, almonds and marzipan. This beer has held up pretty well past it's BB date.
