From tap at Planet Oedipus ’17. Lots of malts in the aroma with caramel and notes of coffee. A bit spicy/herbal with a touch of dried fruits. Flavour is mild sweet and bitter. Nice, but a bit too light for its own good, could have used more body.

From the bottle. Pours dirty brown with a creamy head that slowly fades. Aroma is a mix of roasted grains and old coffee grounds. Taste is mildly bitter, full of strong roasted notes. Finishes with a mild sourness that lingers in the aftertaste. Body is medium, carbonation is mild. Overall, kind of raw. Feels unfinished.

Draft @ Planet Oedipus ’17. Dark brown color. Beige head. Aroma’s of roasted malts and light funk. Retronasal it’s firm roast and light red fruit. Flavor is roasty, light bitter, fruity. Light bodied. Light moderate bitter finish.

On tap at Planet Oedipus. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roast, caramel, laurel, coffee. Flavour is medium sweet, quite some caramel coming through, hint of brownie, coffee, roasted malts, peanuts, bittersweet finish. Light bodied. Decent stuff.

Tap at Planet Oedipus festival. Tortillas, roasted malts, quite some licorice and herbs, moldy cocoa, dark bread, honey. Light sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bit dry feel.

Brown beer, bit of beige foam there. Nose caramel, nutty. Brown ale? Taste is nice light hops, bready caramel, hoppy. Nice balance and again, liking this. Dry bitter finish.
