A dark, rich and refreshing porter with notes of coffee and chocolate. It goes well with dark meats, rich desserts and chocolate, and is delicious and satisfying on its own.

500ml bottle at home. Pours a cola black brown with a very small off white to tan head that dissipates quickly. Nose is meek sweet malt, vinegar, some milk chocolate notes, vegetal or mild floral hops. Flavour is also meek chocolate notes, some bland caramel. Not a drain pour but nothing exciting here

From the bottle purchased at a supermarket in Galway. Dark brown to black with a foamy tan head. Mild coffee and sour cherry in the aroma. Taste loaded with sour vinegar notes, overwhelming all else—infected. A pity but I cannot imagine it was intended to taste like this. Did not finish. Drainpour.

Bottle from Martins. Brownish black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate malt. Sweet fruit and malt, overall a bit bland.

Bottle shared by Beersiveknown @ tasting at his place. Huge thanks Steve! Brown color, average sized beige to light brown head. Smell and taste malts, brown malts, a bit sweet, dark fruits, raisins slightly. Ok.
