Mikkeller Green Easter, on tap at Animal (Madrid). Hazy dark orangish colour with an off-white head, creamy, dense, good lasting, nice lacing. Aroma is strong hoppy, floral, with hints of resins, malty. Flavor has resins, heavy biitterness from the beggining to the end and some caramel notes. The aftertaste is strong bittery with a long duration, dense on palate. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium to high. Texture is oily.

Bottle - Hoppy grapefruit and some nice sweetness. Fizzy head that dissipates quickly with a cloudy orange hue. Bitter right at the start, but it actually fades nicely. The grapefruit is there, but is masked a bit by the bitterness. The flavor appears at the end in the finish. Nice but not as good as I was expecting from the aroma.

Farge uklar brun med fyldig offwhite skum. Lukt Sitrus, tropisk. Smak sitrus, noe grapefrukt, karamelltoner. Vel balansert med bitter avlsuting. En god ipa

Henrik Ol & Vinstove, Bergen, tap: Pours brown with a beige head. Looks most nice. Aroma is is flowery, citrusy, and burnt all at the same time. Basically, it was pretty dope. Taste is hoppy in the right proportion. Slight hints of roasted malt. Good amount of complexity lingers on to the aftertaste. body is just right. Basically, this was a joy to drink, and this is coming from a beer drinker who is seldom impressed by IPAs anymore.

Poured from a 330ml bottle (drank Mar ’12) into a Meantime goblet to a murky caramel/orange colour with a small white head which soon recedes to a small pool in the centre. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, grassy slightly sour - not a sweet smelling beer! On the palate - big grapefruit hit, sweet piny taste, ripe tropical fruits with a sweetish aftertaste of my old friend grapefruit! Mouthfeel is medium bodied a little carbonation but just right, all round well balanced. Not a world beater from Mikkeller but a very decent IPA and would have this again.

Cloudy dark amber beer, thick tan head. Softish palate, a little dry. Smooth grassy hops with a little sweet pineapple following through. Smooth caramel malt underneath. Grassy afertaste. Nice fresh IPA.

Draft @ When Pigs Fly. Looks like muddy pond water. Hazy brown. Not much head. Nose is rather sweet, with lots of caramel, grapefruit, and a little touch of pine.Flavor follows aroma. Moderate sweet malty presence, definitely overcome by hops. Much sweeter than most Hopheads will want. Good carbonation and medium body. Slick texture. Light lingering bitterness after the brew warmed. Try this.
