St-Feuillien’ Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde ale, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang. Saison, the latest in a long line of top-quality St-Feuillien beers, is a “hoppy”, unfiltered bee that is so emblematic of the rich Belgian tradition.

Refrigerated 11.2 oz. aluminum skinny can poured into a tulip. Hazy light orange with medium white head. Aroma yeasty, medium body, medium carbonation, and good lacing. Taste is citrus, yeasty, and slightly dry finish.

Hazy orange amber color, with medium white head, lasting quite a bit. Aroma is hoppy, orange peel, yeast. Taste is yeasty, mildly malty, herbal hops. Dry finish, medium carbonation. Good.

Hazy medium golden colour, two finger frothy off-white head, diminishing slowly, good lacing. Aroma pale malts, yeast, light citrusy, coriander, lemon grass. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, malty, yeasty, fruity, spicy notes, herbal touch in the dry bitter finish, medium body, oily to creamy texture, average carbonation, a good Saison.

Donkergeel bier met veel schuim wat helaas snel wegzakt. Smaak is licht zuur en hoppig bitter, kruidig, ananas en citrus.
