Modern berry ale with a sweet and softly tart tastescape. Chokeberry juice is fermented with a wort packed with extra light caramel malts at a ratio 1/7. That allows to degrade the berry`s natural astringency to a crispy dryness that ends in a juicy fruitiness with some light malt sweetness.

50cl bottle as a gift. Pours slightly hazy deep red with an almost white head. Mild aroma of red berries with light malty notes, hints of hops and citrus. Moderate to medium sweet with fairly pleasant flavour and nice bitter and slightly acidic finish. A bit unusual flavour, but a beer I could drink again.

Pale pink head, pretty huge and absolutely stable spreading lace over a pink to pale cardinal-red tinted beer. Fruity, bit dusty, and also some leather. Typical berry nose. Sourish-bitterish, fruity-herbal flavour. Nothing exuberant, but pleasing. Finish is a bit vinous, which doesn’t spoil anything; I’d even hazard "foxy" wine. Despite serious carbonation, creamy feel (the head helping). Light to medium body. I don’t know the kind of berry, but it can be used again for me! 6/4/7/3/14

Bottle at home, red beer, pink head. Aroma is dusty, tart. Taste is the same, some berry flavour, sweet and some tartness, either this bottle was not good, or the beer is meh

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy pale red with a pinkish head. Red berry aroma. Light in body, tart berry accents, almost astringent. There’s a light sweetness battling the sour berries, but the latter clearly win. 070617
