500ml bottle from Hop Leaf at home. Slightly hazy orange golden pour. Aroma is ripe mango and strong resin hops. Taste follows - big rich tropical fruity and resinous hops. Big booziness and bitterness that lasts. One of the best DIPAs - a standard to which others should be compared. Lasting boozy warmth. Very big but alarmingly drinkable. Definitely get again.

Tap at Craft Beer Rising (London, 19 February 2015) Shows a cloudy whiskey brown. The nose shows mostly a lot of sweet malts with some notes of resinous pine and cannabis in the background. The palate shows very light carbonation, a slight spiciness & heat in the middle, a very good malt back bone and a moderate to high bitterness.

500ml bottle from New World Fendalton, Christchurch. Pours amber with a small head. Impressive sweet nose, foreshadowing what the gums and the tongue will get to taste... Rich, full taste. Sweet, a bit of fruit, hiding the 167 IBU until the very end of the lasting finish where the bitterness for a moment says "Hi, I’m here as well" and disappears again. Very tasty.

Poured from 650mL bottle [bb 14/05/2016]. Clear, golden orange with off-white head. Pine, resin, and citrus hops with a very light background caramel malt. Didn’t seem all that complex - Based on the bb date and average ratings maybe I should have aged it a bit? The IBU doesn’t show through too much either.

Bottle from 16th Street Liquor, West Vancouver
Cloudy golden color with generous compact head. The aroma is very fruity, peach and mango. The body is not too thick, the mouthfeel is round, it has a nice malt base, moderately sweet, and good hopping, for once the hopping is more fruity than resiny.
Lovely, dangerous.

Great lemony, grassy nose, some piss, crackers. Sweet and lemony flavor, great hops, oranges, leafy, peaches, a bit of mango. A bit too sweet, and lightly cloying, but good. Great fruits.

Bottle at the Deanso’s monthly RB tasting, July 2013. Poured a a clear medium amber with a round white head. The aroma is rich alcoholic. The flavour is strong bitter, rich, spicy, alcoholic liquorice. Rather nice and drinkable, but only in small quantities. The liquorice bitterness in the the finish is a little too much for me.

Bottle shared at Dean’s sticky table tasting thanks to Deanso. Pours clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of big bitter hops, grapefruit, real hop overload, but not in a good complex way. Some caramel malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
