Bottle - Bright sour citrus peel. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Herbal and bitter tart peel. Herbal and tart, but not great.

Very hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is tart berries and yoghurt. Taste is an immediate sour and bitter kick, like a seabuckthorne yoghurt (never had one, don’t even know if they exist, but this is how I would imagine one). Finishes rather weak. I am generally a fan of these modern sour fruit IPAs, but this is hardly IPA at all. It’s more like a bitter berry yoghurt. A bit disappointing

Pours a hazy orangey color, topped with a medium sized and medium lasting whit head. Strong herbal aroma, citrusy notes. A combo with a strong soury feel. Taste is strongly soury, herbal quality. Mildly bitter. Slight fruity feel, but more or less bittery herbs with lots of soury notes. Interesting, something different.

Poors muddy hazel brown with white head. Smell fruity hops. Taste first fruity hops, quickly overruled by aggressive sea buckthorn bitterness. Unripe peach stone. Sour grapes and grape stones. Extremely bitter and sour. When gotten used to the extremes it becomes super fruity again. Flavors of citrus peel (lemon, oranges), grapefruit and lemongrass emerge. Amazing. Nice fizzy lively carbo. Reminds me of Dochter van de Korenaar stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Baltic Frontier Seabuckthorn IPA on 21 Nov 2017 at 14:13 - Score: 8. Original review text: 4.2

330ml bottle from Brewdog online. Hazy amber with a frothy white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of fruity, citric, hoppy. Taste is sour, lemon and grainy, with zesty juniper berry and woody, earthy notes. Sharp mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, sour dry tangy finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from BottleDog, Edinburgh. Hazy orange/amber body with a thin white head. Good lacing. Aroma of tomato juice, lemon sherbet and Fanta. Flavour of grapefruit, lime and salt. Medium body with a smooth texture. Lively carbonation. Tart and refreshing. I wouldn’t drink more than one though.
