Bottle at Winterbierfestival, Gouda: Hazy orange coloured brew with taste of orange, liqourice, anis and pine needles. Its give the beer an strange sweet candylike taste and strange bitter finish. Quite suprisingly beer indeed.

Thank you for sharing people! Sampled bottled @ “Gouda Winterbier Festival 2016”. Dark amber red, little tanned head. Nose is sweet sugary, candy-like pine, sugary orange peel & malt. Odd. Taste is a bit watery, sugary, sweet weak watery candy & spices, candied pine, honey. Watery body. Watery nature of this one takes it down. Smell was simple but interesting, it is just too watery.

Bottle sampled at PINT Winterbier festival Gouda 2016. Dark amber. Sugary sweet, resin, herbs/spices (light anise). Medium sweet, light bitter. Medium body, medium carbonated. Light gumball coating aroma ruins the fun. --- Beer merged from original tick of Leidsch Pine Tops Boogie Ale on 21 Nov 2017 at 14:41 - Score: 6. Original review text: 3.2

Bottled. A hazy red beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and funk. The flavor is malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Clear red-brown colour. The aroma and taste have stewed vegetables and some strange herbal, medicinal notes too. The finish has some Bakewell tart. Confusing.

Bottle shared with deanso. Poured a dark reddish amber with a thick frothy off white head. The aroma is weak spicy with fruit. The flavour is medium bitter with spicy red berries and a Co2 style sharp bitterness on the palate. A really unique and super special Christmas beer.
