Aroma of malt, caramel, vinegar, toasted notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium sour. Reminescent of a Flanders Oud Bruin. Pleasant combination of sweet and sour.

Tap @ De Prael. Murky brown color. Red fruit and caramel in the aroma. Dominant sour flavor with red fruit, overpowering the caramelly malts, Apple sourness. Passion fruit. Lacks the complexity of a real Flemish brown. It’s just sour.

Clear red-brown colour. Quite sour and woody. It’s like a Duchesse du Bourgogne but less sweet, more sour.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 2. Deep red amber with no head. Nose is vinegar, wood mixed with a touch sweet candy. Taste is lightly puckering, oak, vinegar, some sour lemon, wood,… Puckering body, low carbonation. Interesting, very simple, sour, basic but fun to drink. Nice enough.
