Tripel d'anvers was launched in 2010. Brewed with barley, rye, oat and wheat and hopped with Saaz hops. Spices are: coriander seeds and dried orange peel.

Clear pale amber colour (later cloudy with yeast floaties), small frothy off-white head, disappears quickly, some lacing. Aroma sweet malt, caramel, bread, floral and citrus hops, honey, vanilla, pear, yeast. Flavour medium sweet and light bitter, bit spicy, bit flat, peppery on he tongue. Finish rather sweet, mild bitterness, spicy notes.

Bottle at home. Clear golden with fizzy white head. Light cloves and yeast, sweet grains and a light grassy finish. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with a bit fizzy carbonation. Uncomplicated and quite drinkable.

Bottle at home. Unclear dark yellow golden with white head. Very sweet malts, banana and later tangerine, coriander, cloves, Belgian yeast, mealy doughiness, some alcoholic spiciness, hoppy bitterness. Medium sweet, light bitter. (Bottle, Antwaerps Bierhuyske, Antwerpen, 15 Oct 2015) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of tropical fruit, pineapple and floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with tropical fruit, dried pineapple, candy sugar and a gentle floral bitterness. Almost full body, quite sweet. Fresh and tasty tripel, possibly a touch too sweet. Quite nice.

Amber-orange colored, unclear, small off white head. Aroma is brewing sugar, spices, yeast, some fruits. Taste is medium+ sweet caramel and candy sugar, phenolic spicy, some fruits not too strong, yeast, spicy low to medium bitterness. Medium bodied, average carbonation.

F: average white, not long lasting. C: gold to amber, hint of hazy. A: mostly orange/lemon peels, grassy hops, yeasty. T: smooth grassy/floral hoppy bitterness, citrusy peels, malt, quite yeasty, red apples, medium body, average carbo, very good in my opinion, underrated, try it.

Orange color, small white head, lace. Some pineapple and peach in the fruity nose. Medium to even full-bodied. Saaz hops are there, fruity pineapple-peachy flavor, kind of worty feeling. Certainly different De Koninck as it is not clinical as the most of them. Even homebrewish feeling. Probably this one has more/freshier Saaz than some other batches (after seeing other ratings).

Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy bright yellow-golden color with a huge foamy orange-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sprtizy citrus, a hint of perfume and yeast. The flavor was tart, citric, perfumey, sweetish and bready with undertones of booziness and medicine. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.
