Keg at BBF 7, Bodegraven, 25/09/15. Dark mahogany brown with a decent tan swirl and edgeing. Nose is nutty, dark fruit shreds, toffee, dates, figgy jam. Taste comprises wooded notes, toffee, fruit loaf, spruce, very light and airy for a quad. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, light boosting opportunities when Charon the Ferryman calls for your soul ! Decent quad.

Clear dark brown. Light wood in the aroma. It’s very sweet and malty with some warming alcohol.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 2. Dark brown wood appearance. Nose is oily caramel, herbal, quite BE in profile, herbal chocolate syrup. Taste is too herbal, licorice, oak but not really cedar, licorice, BE, too BE & herbal for me but not definitely not entirely bad. Syrupy body.

Borefts Beer Festival 2015. Brown with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with dried fruit and a spiced note. Sweet malty flavour with dried fruit, caramel and dark sugar

@Borefts 2015, van tap, wederom erg koud, donker amber met beperkte kraag. aroma van rozijn, zoet, mout, graan, cedarhout zit eer ook in. Smaken van deze Qaud neigen wat naar die van een VS barley qua granigheid, rogge, gran, caramel, rozijn, donker fruit, zoetig, en ook in de smaak komt het cedar hout wel terug, wel licht aanwezig. redelijk tot volle body, prima

Tap @ Borefts ’15. Dark amber with a small beige head. Smells quadrupel, malts, sweet, raisins. Tastes sweet, raisins, alcohol. Can’ t find the cedar. Full body, soft carbo.

At Borefts 2015. Aroma of sweet oak and some fruit. Taste is really sweet, with lots of licoricy wood, raisin and caramelised malt. Good, but a little too sweet.
