Bottle shared thanks to Sjogro. Dark reddish brown with small beige head. Sweet red fruits, brown sugar, lots of herbs. Indeed some cedar wood, Christmas cake, hazelnuts, cola, some vegetables, citrus hops. Over medium sweet, lingering bitter finish and light tartness throughout. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. The bitterness seems really out of place here, otherwise quite nice.

33cl bottle. Thcik creamy off white head. Clear deep burgundy pour. Sweet. The sweetness overpowers the wood.

From tap. Pours clear and golden to hazzlenut brown, small off white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden and mild wineous. Mellow, wooden and slight fruity. Bitter and toasted dark malty.

From tap as Quad 17. Pours clear and golden deep amber. Small tan head. Aroma is fruity, slight berry like. Overripe fruity, almost wineous. Fruity and mild phenolic. Mild sweet and fruity. Lingering overripe fruity finish.7-4-7-4-15

Bottle (from Drink Shop, Tallinn), bottled 14.09.2015. Pours dark ruby with beige head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is sweet, dark fruits, plums, malt, caramel. Flavor is sweet and bitter, dark fruits, plums, malt, caramel. Finish is wood and dry bitter. Overall: good.

[9/26/15] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2015 in Bodegraven. Brown. Aroma of caramel, malt, wood, some fruitiness. Sweet, slightly syrupy, bitterish finish.

Tap at Borefts ’15. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma of overripe dark fruits, light fruits, wood, toffee and caramel. Flavour is light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Borefts VII. Day 1. Clear amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and mildly crisp. Nice toffee - cream malts, thin. Mild spicy cedar. Good tangy fruits. Light finish. Nicely done.
