Bottle at home. It pours clear deep red, with a thin light pink head. The nose is disappointingly sweet, ripe cherry, candy, boiled sweets and some caramel. The taste is fresh cherry, cherry pip, some mellow sourness, wood, earth, with a some tangy cherry in the finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Rich cherry taste all-round. It’s not Not nearly as sour as I prefer my krieks, but not a bad beer.

Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Poured a clear ruby red with a whitish pink head that started at the edges and remained throughout the beer. Aroma was full of sweet cherries and it reminded me of cough syrup. Flavor started was full of sweet cherries with a bit of a medicinal note and a bit sweet for my liking.

Bottle, 375ml corked, from trade with jbrus. A dark candy red beer with a small pinkish head. Lots of cherries on the nose, almosts and a funky touch. Vinous, at least a little bit. Slightly citric on the palate, dry and medium-bodied with good carbonation. Cherries and almost flavor, lacking a bit on the funk. Cherry finish. A very smooth drinking beer that slakes the thirst, but not a world class example of the style. 100326

37,5cl bottle at Delirium Cafe. Pours amber with a reddish hew & a small creamy head. Lots of sweet cherries. A mild sour note. Sticky palate. A kriek on the sweet side but fresh, quenching and delicious!
