dark ruby colour, moderate sized ruby-ish pinkish head; aroma sour cherry, marzipan, citric acidy, cheesy-yeasty and some acetone notes; taste is exactly the same; quite good one! (van még egy hónap hátra, hát hadd szóljon! :'( )

Corked bottle.Ruby red color. Cherry marmelade and cherry pits in the aroma. Sweet and sour flavor with cherry lemonade. Nice enough, but too sweet for me.

From bottle thanks to George. Red color with almost no head. Malty and yeasty aroma, sweet cherries, some tart notes, light funky, wood. Sweet and acidic taste. Medium oily body with soft to flat carbonation.

Bottle at home. Dark red pour with greyish ring head. Sweet cooked cherries, light and distant balsamic vinegar brown/sour note, tart cherry pie, alpro soy blueberry yoghurt, and a bunch of cardboard in between. Moderate sweet and light bitter, faintest sour note, pie tartness. Medium body and soft carbonation. Cherry pulp rich texture. Very sessionable. Wouldn’t call this a sour but it’s not a typical sweetened either, this is far less sugary sweet than some of the widely available commercial krieks. The sweetness feels pretty natural. Not a bombastic palate but more like a murky natural fruitdrink. Bottle. Pours a deep red color with no head. Has a fruity acidic cherry aroma. Fruity weak sour tart cherry and almond flavor. Has a fruity weak sweetish cherry and almond finish.

0.375 l bottle from ’Belgiuminabox.com’, best before December 2016 (apparently bottled in December 2012). Clear, very dark red with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, pinkish white head. Sweetish, very fruity aroma of cherries, sorbet powder and some almond. Quite sweet but not overly so, very fruity and a little sourish taste of cherries, almond, a bit of oak and some sorbet powder, followed by a short, slightly tart and minimally vinous finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice, not too sweet and with intense cherry flower, some lambic character left as well.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Deep red with a bit of pinkish foam. Big sweet jammy cherries aroma. Sweetflavor with cherries, sugar, faint tartness. Aroma is better than flavor, and quite sweet overall, but still very nice.

Tasted side by side with dekoninck Oude kriek @ Belgiuminabox. This one ( kriekenlambiek ) is way more sweet, and way less carbo ( nearly flat) . Pretty complex, still hints of sourness. Pretty good
