On tap at GBBF 2019. Hazy russet brown colour thin tan head. A bit of malt a bit of liquorice. A bit of sweet biscuit. Decent sweet strong beer. Light bourbon. Some toffee. I liked it.

GBBF Day 1. Keykeg. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and crispy. Smooth but fairly thin malts. Light creamy sweetness. Caramel and cream. Modest bourbon fruits. Light and semi dry finish. Flavoursome but a little thin and dry.

33cl bottle from a trade with bierkoning, thanks! A black beer with a mid-sized most good lasting tan head. Aroma of sweet dark chocolate, roasted malt, liquorice, vanilla. Taste of sweet chocolate, melasse, liquorice, some coffe and roasted malt. Good!

Original review text: Sampled at THT November. Almost black with light brown head. Dry oak, licorice, dry earthy malts, deep roast, more earthy roasted malts and toasted wood, dead leaves. Medium sweet and bitter. Solid medium bodied with dry finish.
