Bouteille 75cl, merci Will. Couleur acajou, col fin rosé. Arôme au nez fortement centré sur la cerise, même pas de griotte, avec des effluves un peu trop douces et artificielles. Note rien en terme de lambic. Palais est similaire, douceur est persistante malgré un effet de griottes ajoutant une petite touche aigrelette et un fin pétillement de boisé voire de jeune lambic. Rien de classique si ce n’est l’effet désaltérant.

25cl bottle: BBD 6th Mar 2018, poured into a Mort Subite badged vase shaped glass at home on 21st Apr 2017. Pours out red with a pink head. Cherries and marzipan like nose and taste, very sweet: too sweet in fact.

Bottle 250ml. @ Hotel Room, Brussels, Belgium. [ As Mort Subite Kriek Lambic ].Clear dark deep red colour with a large, frothy - creamy, excellent lacing, fully lasting, pink head. Aroma is moderate to heavy cherry, almond, marzipan, light artificial. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sugary, tart cherry, almond, marzipan, sweet cherry. Deep ruby red, hazy, pink dense head. Thick lacing. Fruity aroma of dominant sweet cherry an other red fruit. Straight-forward. Light body. Average carbonation. Soursweet taste. Sugary cherry, minor yeastiness and light to medium acetic sourness. No bitterness. Cherry ctone ending. This is a tasty and very refreshing drink. The lambic base however is well hidden. Poppy.

bottle from supermarket in puerto rico. pours cherry red, with a pink smooth large head. aroma of marcipan and a little cherries.sweet notes of cherry-jam. flavor is sweet cherries, and sour lambic. the overall impression is more refreshing sour, than cloying sweet, and the alc is well hidden. This is a nice mainstream lambic, surely drinkable, and more so than some of the similar looking fruit beers that are made off real beer instead of lambic. A positive surprise.
