Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is camembert, malty, toffee. Taste is brie, cranberries, not much more. Sweetish cheesy finish. Medium carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Very interesting, reminds me of the baked Camembert you can eat in Bavaria.

Shared at pre-Borefts tasting, thanks for sharing everybody! A bit hazy light amber with off white head. Figs indeed, raisins, rum, alcohol, caramel, lots of sugar. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Almost full bodied. Quite nice but alcoholic.

Found this in the closet, had forgotten I had this beer. All for the good. Poured nice caramel amber, even a small skirmish of foam. Caramelised candy-sugar and dried fig fruits in the aroma, nicely sweet and sticky. Taste reveals that the body has somewhat thinned out, there is also a lot of booze bitterness. At first also some dried fruits but aftertaste is actually booze-bitter and dry. Little bit a letdown, still enjoying it though.

500ml wax sealed bottle (BBD 15th Feb 18) between four of us at the 25th Oct 16 Shrewsbury Beer Share; cheers Mat for this one. Amber pour, beige head, smooth body feel. Malty molasses in the nose and flavour, caramel being the main feature. Some mixed fruity notes in the taste too, fairly sweet throughout and easy to drink for such a strong ABV: liked it.
