Bottle from the Brewdog Online Shop. Pours flat black, no head, low carb. Aromas of coffee and fudge. That coffee sweet no one else liked in Quality Street. Taste is sticky coffee, toffee. Disappointing.

Pitch black pour with no head and no visible carbonation. Notes of coffee, oxidation, rotten apples, molasses, soy sauce. Flat, not much coffee, umami dominating the aroma. Sticky cloying mouthfeel, kinda hard to drink. Huge difference from the normal Subliminal, which was a great beer.

Intensywna kawa, sporo zboza, kakao, dosc wytrawne, nie za wiele ciala, nieco kwaskowate. Dziwna piana (syczy, znika). Podstawka > coffee

Bottle picked up from De Bierverteller, Utrecht, Netherlands, consumed at Mini Camping Groene Donk, Den Dungen, nr Den Bosch, Netherlands, Wednesday 27th September 2017 Pours black with very little head to speak of, a little roasty tang. The coffee isn't shy at coming forward, it's not overly sweet, it's a little sticky with a touch of treacle. I like it but can't help thinking that Buxton do better on their own. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Opaque colour, not much head. Roasted, coffee dominates the aroma. Full-bodied, smooth even liquerish palate. Coffee, mudcake, some medicinal notes (Jรคgermeister) and warming alcohol. Finish has also cocoa. Complex, coffeish and slightly boozy.
