Pours slightly hazy/cloudy pale straw color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of tart lemon, peach, green apple, pear, white grape, peach skin, light pepper, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, peaches, and light pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of tart lemon, peach, green apple, pear, white grape, peach skin, light pepper, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Moderate fruity/acidic tartness and light yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, peach, green apple, pear, white grape, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, peaches, and light pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, crisp, dry, moderately acidic, and lightly creamy/grainy balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.7%. Overall this is a damn nice Berliner weisse. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, peaches, and light pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and highly refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
