Bottle at home, best before date August 2015. Brown beer, large head. Aroma is malt, caramel, sweet. Taste is the same, well it has aged somewhat decent.

Bottle at home. Hazy brown with grayish off white head. Sweet toasted malts, caramel, dry malts, barley, vegetal hops, coriander, gum ball, abuse, dry old leaves, big Belgian yeast presence. Bottle. Color: Amber brown, frothy off white head. Taste: Mild, moderate sweet, hints of caramel, almond, brown sugar and yeast.Very lightly bitter. Pretty much carbonation.

Samea tummanruskea olut vaahtoaa varsin runsaasti. Hetken laskeuduttuaan vaahtoa jää pieni kerros oluen pinnalle. Tuoksussa banaania, paahteisen maltainen, rusinainen ja pähkinäinen, hieman sokerinen. Maultaan maltainen, karamellinen ja hiivainen. Melko kuiva ja runsashiilihappoinen kokonaisuus, joka tekee tästä hieman kovan. Kuitenkin ihan ok.

Clear chestnut brown colour, large frothy beige head, good retention and lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, brown sugar, raisins. Taste is light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, toffee, shortlasting. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, aftertaste is mild sweetbitter, light nutty and spicy notes, bit disappointing but drinkable.

Marrón, muy abundante espuma ocre. Aroma tostado, frutos secos, ligeramente herbal y madera. Cuerpo y gas moderados. Sabor malteado, tostado, frutos secos, madera, uva. Ligeramente licórica. Agradable postgusto. Buena.

Bottle at home. Clear reddish brown with lasting off white head made out of very tiny bubbles. Lots of caramel, brown sugar, light spices, brown bread, some rye. Under medium sweet and very light spicy bitterness. Medium bodied with a bit watery feel. Quite bland and unexciting.

Bottle at Café De Drie Gezusters, Saturday 3rd October 2015 Deep chestnut brown in colour with a lacy beige head. Nutty with a light sweetness, some caramel. It’s fine if a little bit thin and watery. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Bottle. Pours clear copper brown with profuse, rocky but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit, malt and hops, with estery touches. Sweetish, fruity and malty flavour, with bitter hoppy notes and touches of caramel and yeast. Sweet-sourish aftertaste. Low carbonation. An acceptable imitation of the Bock but rather watery and not very impressive.
