Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is mildly fruity with a touch of apple, sugar, wheat, and some bothersome notes of veggies. Flavour is sourish and a bit sweet. Body is medium. Yet another not-so-good beer from Insel.

0,33 l bottle from Grunt Shop, Kvatrić, Zagreb. Shared with little Dina. Hazy dark golden, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, citrusy at first, quite intense white wine or white grapes aroma, slightly aggressive acidity. Yeasty, doughy background. A touch of glue. There is this background aroma of corked white wine giving an unpleasant element. Vinous, light malty, light sourness, cardboard, astringent acidity prevails to the finish, not very sour overall. Moderate carbonation, light body. Not good (anymore).

Bottled 330ml. -from Grunt Shop Zagreb. Murky golden coloured, small to medium sized white to off-white head, light yeast and white grapes in the nose. Sweetish yeasty, white grapes, some sweet touch of apples and fruits in the finish. Had better.

Bottle at home, light murky golden brown beer, small head. Aroma is sour, fruity, bit white wine. Taste is the same, tart/sour, fruity, long aftertaste, hint of granny smith apples, interesting and quite refreshing.

Bottl from trade with Rauchbierlover, many thanks. Amber color with medium whit head. Aroma of fruits, peat, limes, horseblanket. peat. Taste, moderate sourness, peaches, bayrnard, wood. Bit weird with this peat feeling, but very good.

0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Pale golden and a little bit unclear in the glass, more than one finger white head. Pale fruity smell, some citrus and apple. Taste has sweet apple, getting a little bit dry. Not really complex. Easy drinking refreshing stuff.

Sour ale by this German brewery specializing in mimicking often anything but German beer styles; sold through the Albert Heijn supermarket chain in the Low Countries but only recently so, though apparently the beer itself has been in existence for three years now. Thanks to Craftmember for sharing. Mousy, egg-white, medium thick, stable head lacing in shreds over a lightly hazed, deep orange-tinged peach blonde beer. Aroma of green plums, Granny Smith apple peel, lemon candy, lime zest, fresh dill, unripe grapes, sourdough, cucumber, margarine. Fruity onset, tart with sour grape and green apple aspects, quite crisp with a sweeter touch of stewed rhubarb or gooseberry, quite lively carbonated; supple bready malt body, lightly sweetish 'in se' but dried by a gentle, yet persisting sourness, ending with lingering green apple, lime and grape aspects (even a subjective impression of dry cider or very dry white wine) with some lingering malty breadiness. Remains very well-balanced, elegant and restrained for a sour ale, but it does tick all the boxes of a modern U.S. style blonde sour, albeit in a generic and hardly inspired kind of way (as usual with these Insel beers); nevertheless, for coming from this particular brewery and for being widely available through a supermarket chain, this is far from bad - a pleasant surprise, even.
