Bottle, 330 ml at Svijet Piva. Courtesy of and shared with JFK10000 and rest of the guys. Pours black with large white head. Roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, licorice, sweet with some bitterness in finish. Medium+ bodied.

Bottle shared by Alberto (thanks ippopotamo36!). Nera, intensa, schiuma color cappuccino chiaro, media e persistente. Al naso sentori di malti tostati, caffé, cacao amaro in polvere, liquirizia. In bocca è ben bilanciata, caffé, liquirizia e cioccolato, oleosa al palato. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Buona.

Butelka 330ml (BB 17.05.2018). Brunatne prawie nieprzejrzyste z obfitą, beżową pianą. Aromat z nutami czekolady, zboża, przyjemny ale bez szału. W smaku wytrawne, nieco palone ale w odczucie czuć pustkę i jednowymiarowość plus srednia, popiolowa, zalegająca goryczka. Daje radę ale oczekiwania byly duzo wieksze.

12oz bottle pours out dark brown small tan head. Nose is big roast malts black licorice vanilla smoke. Taste is more of the smoke ash bitter dark chocolate.

Dark, opaque, medium firm tan head. Nose has a nice combo of roasted malt and coffee. In the first sip, surprised at the big full yet soft mouthfeel, velvety, surely from the oats. Excellent. Flavor is not overpowering, tending dry featuring roasted barley, coffee is barely there. Finish is mildly hoppy, with a detectable herbal hop character that provides a nice contrast to the roastiness. I appreciate the expertise in this: flavorful but not overwhelming, excellent mouthful, fullness but not heavy/coating/cloying, big but not too big.

Negligible smell. Very dark brown colour, high dark brown head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, hops. Licorice in finish. Bitter. Ashy dry palate. Reminds more of stout than porter, but great nonetheless.

Refrigerated 330 ml brown bottle poured into a glass. Black with dark brown highlights with medium light brown head. Coffee aroma, medium body, medium carbonation, and small-bubble lacing. Taste is coffee, oats, soy sauce (salty), and some anise. More like a foreign stout than a Baltic Porter for me.

Aus der Flasche 2017-06 getrunken. Das ist kalter Frühstückskaffee - aber ein Leckerer! Hinter der Kaffeenote findet sich eine schöne hochprozentige Schokolade. Die 7,7% kommt fast schon dünn herüber, wodurch dieses Porter recht süffig ist. Ein tolles Porter!

Bottle shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, smoke, coffee chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet light liquorice bitter with a rich oily liquorice bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
