15 July 2018. At 'In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst', Eizeringen. Solo tasting.
Pours hazy dark red with a thinning, frothy, off-white head. The aroma contains sour & sweet cherry, cherry juice, fruity yoghurt, red wine, lactic acid, raspberry, vinegar, faint marzipan. It tastes medium to heavy funky sour, lots of sour cherry, vinegar, something medicinal even, syrup; light fruity sweet, cherry & raspberry notes. Lemony sour effect even before ending dryish, tart, a bit astringent, more cherry & funky sourness with tannins, lingering wood & vinegar. Medium body, slick texture, flat carbonation. Good, but just a tad too sour.

On tap @ Kulminator. This one has a really deep public purpleish looking body. A small quickly sidesticking and bubbly head on the top. Nice fruity and kinda sweetish sour aroma. Human skin, cherries and hints of sweet strawberries. Nice stuff. Oh, my this is really sour. Nothing like the aroma. Not vinegar, but not far off either. Sour cherries, nectarine sourness. Sour leafs, sorrel and blueberry. Just an explosion of flavor on each sip. Not at all the hat I was expecting smelling this. Really nice and refreshing stuff. 10.03.2017

Bag in box at Drunken Duck. Hazy purple color, pink bubbles. Aroma of tart cherry and decent funk. Taste is dusty, funky overripe cherries, light citrus. Very tasty.

No head, nice reddish color. Aroma is very rich fruity, masses of rich fruity cherries, fruit stones, cherry syrup, grass, mild vinegar, sorrel. Taste is dry sour-ish, masses of dry sour cherries, vinegar, unripe berries, citrus acid, berry skin, cherry stones, sorrel. Medium bitterness, dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Hand me a couple of bags and nobody gets hurt....!!

[9/26/16] Draught at Antwaerps Bierhuyske in Antwerpen. Lovely deep red. Great jammy cherries aroma with some funk and some oak. Flavor is sour and a bit sweetish with lots of cherries, some lacto, cobwebs, funk, a bit acidic in the throat. Great.

Tap at WvdSG. A bit hazy very deep red. Straight up sour cherry, almonds, light salted plums, a bit earthy, hay. Under medium sweet, light bitter and salty. Medium bodied. Not bad.
